The company derives from a portion of the vast agricultural property of the Frongia, (about 300 hectares) landowners of the early 1900s, grain farmers and breeders as a result, because at the time the fields were cultivated with ox-drawn plows.
The hamlet where we are located is called Rio Murtas, because it is rich in water and therefore particularly rich in myrtle bushes (Riu – river or stream, murtas – myrtle in Sardinian dialect). Subsequently the vast agricultural estate was divided among the various heirs and today it is almost totally in a state of neglect.

Located in the lower Sulcis, in one of the most fertile lands, our company covers 21 hectares of property, and another 70 for agricultural rent, of which about 18 completely destined for breeding and the remaining cultivated with cereals and legumes.

The future projects are very ambitious: the cultivation of a particular barley to be used for the production of beer, the cultivation of paulownia for the production of energy from biomass, the cultivation of a vineyard with a biological regime to rediscover a particular type of indigenous grape, the ever greater increase in the breeding of indigenous breeds in the semi-wild state.
